Founded in 1970, The Lebanese Dietetic Association (LDA) revived its activities in 1993. LDA is a non-governmental non-profit organization and is a valued and credible reference for scientifically based nutrition and food science information in Lebanon. LDA is an adhering body of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences. Currently, LDA groups around 200 active members.
